Abundant Life and Continuous Improvement

Are you living an abundant life? What do I mean by abundant? I consider an abundant life to be one filled with joy and not worry or anxiety. A life filled with overflowing goodness and blessings. A life filled with gratefulness recognizing the multitude and variety of those blessings. A life filled with hope for today and future opportunities. A life that includes continual personal development to grow and strive to achieve my highest potential. Ancient scripture tells us that there is a thief whose purpose is to steal, kill, and destroy. This thief steals our joy, kills our motivation, and destroys our hopes and dreams. Ancient scripture also tells us that an abundant life is part of God's plan for us.

I like to segment an abundant life into 5 categories all beginning with the letter F.

  1. Faith - I believe my relationship with God is the foundation of an abundant life.

  2. Family - Close family bonds and relationships bring joy and happiness.

  3. Fitness - Health and wellness are another essential to enjoying an abundant life.

  4. Function - This is what we do to earn a living using our skills and abilities.

  5. Finance - This relates to how we manage our income to provide hope for the future.

I am living abundantly when I am enjoying the present and growing in each of those 5 areas.

Continuous improvement is about growth and personal development. Without continuous improvement we stagnate, become apathetic, fall short of our potential, and our personal development and growth is stunted. Abundance is left on the table, or left behind if we accept things to be just as they are. When I apply intentional focus and reflection in my life I see the abundance that is waiting for me to receive and achieve.

My life's purpose is to help others live abundantly and continuously improve. I know there are many people like me who know they have the potential to grow and become all they can be to make a difference in the world in which we live. In the weeks and months ahead I will write more about my philosophy of an abundant life. I hope you will find it interesting and inspiring. If I can help you develop an abundant life plan, or help you in your search for more meaning in life, please reach out to me. I will be happy to explore opportunities to help you live abundantly and continuously improve!
